i was cleanin my 300 this a.m. i had it propt back on its grab bar to clean the bottom, had it in 1st gear, i put it back on all fours and when to roll it so i pulled in the clutch but it wouldn't free wheel, i no its not the cable needing adjusting cuz i tryed pushing the clutch linkage on the side of the case by hand and it still would roll so wuts up, any help would be appreciated

its your brakes sticking?
try putting it into nutral

no its not the brakes rolls fine in nuetral

mine does the same thing now. Its not the cable. Its more than likley the clutch plates need replacing. Im replacing mine as soon as I order some parts.

could the plates be frozen up its been really cold here the last few nights gets down round 0 or so

i dont think so. :o I honestly think you have the same problem as me. I am going to be getting a EBC clutch ket with the HD springs. They run like $70. I know that this is the problem with mine and it sounds like you are in the same situation.

On mine I know for a fact its not the cable. I have adjusted it every which way and got nothing. It never hurts to try though.

see i know it is the clutch on mine because when i am riding fast. (5th gear pinned) The clutch slips and my rpms bounce off of the limiter and then drop back down.

mine does that too but i didnt think it was the clutch but thanks you killed two birds with one stone there LOL thanks for the help
