I sure hope I spelled her name right:p

This will be another project quad that is now apart and to be rebuilt for her and the Women's GNCC class.

Purple is what she wanted, so we went with Purple metalic. The falsh over exaggerates the metalflake and the color is actually a bit brighter in person.

Is that black very durable?

Pappy

it seems to be ok, it hides marks very well so that is a plus.

VERY DURABLE! i have a front bumper, spindels, a-arms, swinger, brake calipars, and a few other things done by pappy in that color and its VERY hard to chip it or get marks in it... i'm not easy on stuff where i ride (go right threw the woods with no trial hitting anything in my path) and there is almost no marks in my powdercoat.... i've had about 15 differnt colors from pappy over the years and that one is by far the best that i've seen...

its purple metalic.

i shot some of this a few years back and honestly its different now. before it was darker, in the realm of your frame color but not as deep or glossy.

After returning from the GNCC, it was time to set the suspension:p After making everything more plush, I think she will find it to her liking.

Pappy

KH426 put the 06 thur its paces to help dial it in

Pappy

Although a basic suspension, after some tweaking it felt very good.

Hopefully at Georgia she can get upfront and run this purple puppy

Pappy

the steering was very responsive and the Burgard arms tracked good and straight. The elka shocks preformed well and soaked up everything we could throw at it.

Pappy
03-08-2006, 03:50 PM
I even did a few laps on it:huh

Pappy

I like 06ER, power is good and now with her mods it can run and handle.

Not bad for a budget build!

Pappy
03-08-2006, 03:53 PM
Dont worry Shanna, I didnt hurt it:p

Pappy

I will keep track of how this quad does thru out the season, hopefully she will find the groove and get some wood!
