Ltz400 Clutch Problem Please Help

i WAS WONDERING OF ANYONE COULD HELP ME. WHEN I GIVE IT GAS IT JUST REVS UP BUT NO POWER IS GETTING TO THE WHEELS UNTIL IT REVS REALLY HIGH. LIKE THE CLUTCH ISN'T ENGAGEING I JUST GOT IT AND WANT TO BE SURE. IS THE CLUTCH WORN AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR WHAT. tHANKS

Or the clutch is really out of adjustment. did you put alot of strain on it before it did this. I did that to mine pulling my friend out with my 400ex. It made a really nasty screatch noise then it wouldn't move fast like yours is doing. I adjusted it and it worked again. Good luck. It may be worn too. Jut my two cents though steve.

my friend had that same thing...he jus put in a set of DP clutch plates and it is workin....he races and it is workin good
