I used a hand saw....not electric or anything, just some elbow grease. Kinda like a hack saw, but with no top piece.

I really wouldn't recommend using a razorblade...Well someone whose accident prone like myself wouldn't use a razorblade. I would instead get a hacksaw blade and put tape around one end--to form like a handle. Then mark your quads fenders and start cutting. You would be surprised how quickly a razorblade can cut skin...
Just my $.02:)
USE A SAFETY CUTTER.SAME THING USED AT GROCERY STORES. THAT'S WHAT I DID.USE FINE SANDPAPER TO CLEAN UP RUFF EDGES WE ARE NOT CUTTING SHEET METAL GUYS

outline your cutting area with eletrical tape. use a jig saw to cut it (very fast), then sand it to smooth it and fix any non-straight areas in your cut. i used the sanding attachment for my dremel to do that part.

Totally took me like hour and a half. What took the most time was drawing the lines with a magic maker and making them even and sanding. I used a utility knife as they're called I think, I don't know there have always been called razor blades around here. If you can hold a pair of scissors and not cut yourself I think you can handle this. I tried to use a hacksaw but I got much better results with the blade.

I think Razorback used the closest thing to what I used. It works!! You can take your time and go slow. Personally I think once you use a utility knife, it creates valleys and stuff if you mess up, then you kepp going back into them. YOur call

I used a Drehmel, and it cut threw it nice and smooth,I rounded out my edges w/a fine sandpaper, then used the sander that came with my drehmel,in all I think it took about 20 hrs. I cant wait to post my pic!!good luck, just remember to take your time

Very nice outlawEx...My husband decided he liked the look well enough on my 300ex,he did his today too.We treis using a lighter to smooth it out(carefully)and it works great. Now all I need is a nice graphics kit, gonna see if a local business (graphics and sign maker) can custom design me a set...
arright, thanks yall
im just cutting the fenders on my pos fourtrax, because ive ran out of room to rivit, and finially broke the back half of the front/right fender off when running over a stump:D
.. yes, i was proud
im not tryin to make a fancy curve like yalls quads, because i cant, so i guess ill start out w/ the hacksaw or jiggsaw, then go down to the utility knife if need be..
