John Flynn at theNew Jersey sate DEP, is looking into the Jungle Habitat property for OHV use/park again.

HOWEVER, the Sierra Club has also found out this information, and is sending out mass emails to Mr. Flynn to oppose OHV use there.

SO please, take the time to write an email to John Flynn at john.flynn@dep.state.nj.us

Explain that the state recognizes the need for an OHV facility. The property already has a parking lot and trail system. it is over 800 acres, in an industrial zone area, we are tax payers also, DEP directive mandates a northern NJ park by 2005 of which there is none ...etc

Please forward this to anyone who has an interest in OHV's

I live in the same town as jungle habitat and everything. I send a email to the mayor of my town and this is what he sent back

Dear Mr. Feuerstack,

Months ago the Town Council by resolution showed its suppot for the
discussions between X-treme Habitat and the City of Newark for use of Newark
property within West Milford. Unfortuntely, Newark declined. If X-treme
Habitat has another proposal, I would like to hear it.

i've sent like 5 in 2 weeks...i ask him to reply to all my questions and what i have said but nothing yet...u think he is busy lol?? anyway, west milford isnt far from me so that would be great.

what do you guys think about getting 400 acres instead of all 800???

about 400 verses 800 acres....if there are any trail riders (and there are loads), 400 acres is only going to be a short ride, with the required buffers, and enviro restraints. We are trying to design this park, so all types of riders can enjoy, not just MX.
