riding question

when im riding and i start to slow down i hear a squeeking noise. could that be the brakes?

that is a very vague question.
could be one of a million bushings/bearings.
could be brakes.
could be the shock boots (mine did this).

or it could be your butt cheeks rubbing together.

try to pin point the area where the sound occurs.
