Im pretty sure my high comp, 440 ex is now well broken in the oil still looks beatiful but I guess I should change it ,being a fresh motor but which oil can i run without clutch slippage issues I have a fairly fresh barnett in there , oil is oil the more slippery the better but not if it doesnt agree with the clutch !

Hey dave how ya doing. I recently switched to Amsoil 0w 40 full synthetic and it's working great so far. Not even a hint of clutch slipping and it seems to run a little cooler.
You can get it a Canadian tire for $10.00 a litre.

Just pick which oil your fond of, but make sure its an atv/motorcycle specific oil. You dont want it to contain molybdenum which is the primary friction modifier in synthetic car oils. I personally am a big fan of klotz products. A bit pricey but from my own experience, it quiets down engine noise and made clutch engagement and clutch pull buttery smooth on my 400. Biggest improvement was single handedly the engine noise though.
