I modified my stock exhaust. (removed the spark arrestor and drilled two 3/4" holes in the baffel plate. I just installed 6 1" vents the the air box lid and now I want to get her jetted correctly. I am thinking a 152 or 155. What do you all think?

For the best results, I would recommend a 152 main and lowering the clip on the needle one notch.

You could try anywhere from 152 to 165 and be safe, remember a tad rich is better than lean. You have to experiment, I don't know how much your modded silencer will let the air flow. Faster the flow, the betta.

Thanx guys! I jetting her tonight, testing her tommorrow!
What does lowering the clip on the needle do? I picked up 4 different size main jets. will post the best jet for my mods.

Lowering the clip richens the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle range, but I would drop a bigger main in first and see how it runs.

If you do not plan on changing the pilot jet, lowering the clip on the needle one notch is a good idea. It will richen the lower end and give you better throttle response.

I ended up putting in the 152 main and not messing with the needle. It ran great, way more throttle response. Jetting was easy. Air box vents and bigger main jet in the carb were the best mods I've made so far.
I can't wait to get a cam and a 11-1 416 kit!!
I might try tinkering around with a 155 main and lowering the needle just to see what happens.
