Ever just sat back while you were listing your quad forsale or LOOKING AT CREDIT CARD BILLS and all the nice parts that are in them HOW MUCH F-N moolaaa we spend on these bad boy toys?Im mean dang its a small investment some of you out there spend upwards of 25,000 dollars on these things?

ive prolly got 10 g's in the dale bought from K&K plus about a grand or more in parts from haydug.

Just bought a 2005 trx450r Houser/Axis from KGB on trx450r.org from utah. 7800 for that thing its prolly got upwards of 13 g's in that thing I dunno.

I can say all that we have invested betwen EVERYTHING in our garage,trailer and all the racing fees ect we could have pd. a BIG chunk of my house off by now! :scary:

i got a 400ex about 5 years back for 3600 with a trailer put about 5 or 6 grand into that then just sold it this last spring got a loan for a 450r and spent the money i got for the 400ex on aftermarket parts for the 450 plus about another grand.

so overall id say ive spent about 15 grand on the sport

I bought a 400ex brand new, 5200. Put about eight grand into it. Ended up parting it out and not getting nearly half of what I put into it. Bought a 450r for 7500, put about four grand more into that. Im goin on about 18 thousand, not including race fees and everything else.

O dont even get me started on my old EX some of you might remember that thing from back in the day.It was sweet. 12 g's in that thing roughly give or take.

I don't know about running circles around a 450 dirtbike, but them 350Xs have some decent grunt to them. Plus the fact that they weigh a lot less than a quad, they get right up and scoot.

They're kinda scary to ride.

I don't worry about it because I rarely sell anything (except for quads and bikes I buy to make money on), I just try to make more room in the garage for whatever else I buy. :D But I figured roughly $45k in my two Lonestar 250R's, my 450R and my restored 250R.

im not really sure how much i have into my raptor, less than 10. i built it from nothing so i never lost any money in buying a new quad, just bought all the aftermarket parts i wanted and never touched the stock parts i didnt want. plus ebay saved me tons of money!:D

I have hardly ridden my 450 n already spent over a grand on it for christmas. Then all the cash from relatives for it, im getting my job back (only use tip money for the quad). I still have 4000 to pay off :eek2:.

I had like 3-4 in the 400ex but most was fixing it to keep it running.

I bought my old 300ex for 1500 dollars, over the course of 3 years I put in about a grand or so just to keep it running, then sold it for 1400 a little over a year ago. That is when I started building my 250r from the frame up. I spent all the money from the 300ex on it, and I worked part time 1-3 days a week for about a year and most of the money from that job to the R. I would say after spending just over 500 dollars on new rims and tires I got about 4 grand into my 250r.

I try not to think about it . I could have paid for a few more years of college ... or bought a truck .... or put a downpayment on a house ... or went on a vacation every year . Man thinking about this is depressing me since I can't ride !!!:(

well my dad bought me MY first fourwheeler in 2001 its was a 250ex and i never added a single thing to it, jsut rode the hell out of it, well i sold it for 2200 and then had 500 in cash and bought my 400 which was all stock except for a K&N filter and a rear skid . since then inculding how much is going into my rebuild right now its gonna total out to right around 7 maybe a little more but ive payed every penny other than what i got out of my 250, and im oaying my dad for the loan i made with him for my rebuild. but im done after this rebuild only thing i might get are wheels and ill replace my swing arm with and aftermarket one when it breaks which will prolly be this summer or sooner.
