Go With the Akrapovic Evolution system.
Never seen so much torque and hp with just a pipe on a yfz.

It's full titanium (head-pipe and silencer)with carbon fiber clamps and heat sheild

everyone gonna have there own opinion... we run the GYT-R TI pipe and like it....but we get a bit bottom end out of a CT pipe which we have ran lately.

I honestly dont think there is a "best" exhaust system out there for anything. It depends on what style of riding you do. Pipes that are good for mx may not be good for those that ride in the sand. I had a YFZ for 2 years and ran a HMF, Big Gun, Trinity, FMF Factory 4, and a TC. I guarantee you that if I would have taken all of those pipes out to the track at the same time, rode a few laps with one then switched and jetted accordingly that my lap times would be no different. So basically what im trying to say is, just pick on of the more popular pipes and you should be good. Because in the end it doesnt matter what pipe you have, its all in the rider.

you can get it trough Parts unlimited and Parts Canada and also from Steen Hanseen.

It really rips. we tried pretty much all the pipes on 06's
and its probably the best we tried.

Its got so much pickup power it doesnt lag and as no soft spot or misses in the powerband.

I'm using it for mx and it saved my hide a couple of times
Let me explain: I'm commin out of a corner just before a double but there was so much people on the inside that I decided to go for the outside. This guy pulls in front of me just before the launch of the jump of that big *** double jumps. I hit the brakes to keep im from ramming me. I tought I would'nt make it across but when I stabed the trottle it pulled so hard that I made it and he didnt even make it with a clear line.

One of my friend uses it for GNCC and really love it.

It's rated at 98db so it legal pretty much everywhere.

Bottom line: Monster torque, Badass looks=One hell of a pipe:devil:

Only 98db? Is there a quiet core for this pipe? Also, what makes this pipe so great? Any special technology put into it?

You can read about it on the akrapovic web site: http://www.akrapovic-ai.si/main/main.htm

Its a progressive taper design( Instead of a step-tube design this design offers less restriction and better flow).

It has a quiet core already installed but you can remove it with one simple bolt. ( 100db without quiet core ) Major top end without the quiet core.

Yes the end of the pipe seems small and we had doubt about it when we got it but it has more torque than all the other pipes we tried!!!

This is the page for the YFZ on the official website.

There's even a dyno chart( the HP and Torque figures are with Airbox lid installed and It's way more than that without the lid and an airbox upgrade(I've put the GYTR air-filter and machined bracket)once jetted ).

On the Dyno mine was putting more than 47.89HP and more than 45pnds of torque.( with noise reducer)With a best run of 48.32HP for 45.12pnds of torque

My mods are: Akrapovic evolution full system with noise dampener
GYTR air filter and GYTR bracket
GYTR jet Kit
Cam mod

Thats it: stock 06 YFZ (Motor wise)putting near 50 ponnies to the ground.

Downsize using paint. When in paint go to "Image" then "Stretch/Skew" then reduce the percentages on the Stretch part to whatever you want. 50-75% will probably work good enough depending on how big the picture is.

45 lbs of torque..????

I dont see how that is even close to possible.
Stock is upper 20s and you only have a few mods and you doubled?
Even the cams give you maybe 5-6 flbs.
