Im gunna change my oil tomorrow and I was just wondering what oil you guys all run in the winter..... and for some reason I'm drawing a blank and I'm forgetting how much it will take...

It should be 1.60 quarts. I can't really recommend an oil since I still have about 15 quarts of the old red cap Mobile 1.:D

For the winter on a semi-stock motor, I'll reccomend the AMSOIL ATV 0w40 Full Synthetic.

i put normal oil in and than this thick oil i forget what they call it but its like honey and its expinsive
you can get it at any auto place

10w30 ,whatever is on sale,as long as you change your oil frequently,the stuff from the auto parts store has always worked for me:)

You really want motorcycle oil. The polymers in the car oils can make your clutch slip. Granted, the 250ex doesn't have enough power to make it slip, so you're probably ok with whatever. If you do notice your clutch slipping under heavy load switch to a 4-stroke motorcycle oil.
