I am attmepting to get a leftover 2005 YFZ and want to know what the going rate is for them. I found some in the area listed for $5,799 and $5,599 plus tax, title, freight, prep and doc fee's. To me that is still a little high since the 2006 is already out there. Also the dealers that I am talking to are driving me crazy.

Any help would be great.

There is a shop around me doing them for $5,599 plus freight and prep. I am not sure now if I want the Honda or the Yamaha. it might come down to final price.

I was going to go the used route but for around $1500 more I can get something brand new.

So, is $5,781 OTD for the 05 worth it?

Or is $6,300 OTD for the 06 a better deal?

These are the best I can find around me right now.

Well since the stupid dealership pulled out on their deal with the 05 I am still looking. I WILL NEVER talk to, or deal with anyone from Extreme Yamaha in Ohio due to this pull out on their side. They told me that the price THEY listed in the Motorcycle trader was a misprint. So they would not honor the deal after we agreed on the phone and I was walking out the door. They called me back 10 minutes later and said "you are going to be upset but we can't offer you that deal". You are damn right I was mad.

WHERE are the Pa area people getting their quads from and what are they paying for the 06 OTD?

Man, I hate living where I do. All the dealerships sell everything very high compared to other parts of the country.

I bought my '05 brand new less than a month before the '06 was released for about $6900 OTD. That was the LOWEST price I could get out of 4 dealerships I stopped at....

Thanks but that's not really what I am looking for. I would like prices from the dealerships. Oh and for the 06 model.

Check out lake hill motors in Missippi. These are there actual OTD prices ($5999 for a new 06). Your state might send you a bill in the mail when you register it asking you to pay state taxes on it but thats usually only a couple hundred bucks.

these sound like great deals...as a northern PA resident, i havent seen deals like that in a while. except i bought my brand new 04 YFZ450 for $5,335 OTD like 1 month after they came outhe said he made a mistake and it was supposed to be $6.3K but hey, i guess sometimes mistakes are good! i got away with $5,335!

now if only i could find an 06 for even $6,335 OTD, then we'd be in business!

Lake Hill Motors and Marine is a great place to deal with. I bought a 400ex in 02 from them out the door was like $4500 it was brand new and since then my parents have bought:
2 Wave Runners
YZ85 for my little brother
Yamaha V-star for my Stepdad.
2003 Recon

Thier customer service is great. Me and my family will keep going back for their great deals.
