2002 cr 250 r motor f/s

2002 cr 250r motor:
-this is probably the most sophisticated 2-stroke ever designed, with computer controled and servo actuated powervalve head
-new top end on the first new bore
-gearbox was in perfect shape when pulled out
-this is a compleat motor with the exception of the ignition/stator
-comes with the reedcage and intake boot

This is a perfect motor for anyone who has a dirt bike with a cracked case or broken tranny.
It can allso be a fun project to put this motor in a quad frame, like the service honda 400ex/250r

I paid $600.00 for this motor about a year ago, I will take $500.00 obo.

Jtr, I was thinking along the same lines, if its off the dirtbike it shouldent be too far off, especially with a pipe and cr reedcage.

I also have never used a mikuni carb, I have always ran keihin's and love them, but I got this thing for real cheap. Hell, I got the hole damn motor, ignition, and carb for $250. so I figure its worth the try, its got to be better than stock.

Does anyone out there have a TMX on their R?

Its not too interesting.

I got this motor from a good friend of mine, I traded a set of front wheels and tires for a RSR race car, and $250.00 cash.
Those wheels and tires were worth more than $350.00 so I guess I probably paid more than $600.00.
