im going to start racing next year, what would i need to start out with?

ALL your protective gear,probably a kill switch,Nerfs would be a good idea ,,and your definatly gonna need a LARGE set a ballz

for mx, go with 18 in rear tires and 20 in front tires..then you need a tether, nerf bars, numbers in front and back and sides if u want..i think front and back are mandatory though...i race and i dont have any real mods.

start of with tires and the neccecities, but after that make sure u buy suspension mods.

I kept stock gearing and didnt have a problem at all. You need to get a season under you before you start doing some big things to your bike. Don't worry about the motor, the 450 is a lot still. Once you push the motor to the limit, then it will be time to change some of your motor work.

Definentely what everyone said on the nerfs, etc. On the gearing just change it around to fit your preference. It'll be what you prefer.

Chances are if your just getting started the stock motor will be more than enough, a good set of suspenders will make you muchhh fasterrr.
