400ex JE Piston

brand new still in the box JE piston for a 400ex. It is stock bore and 10.5:1 compression ratio. I only opened the box to make sure everything was there because i bought it off ebay. askin $120 shipped o.b.o

I have the same piston and I run a mix of race and premium (91 in Missouri), it depends on how hot your quad is running, or whether you have detonation or not.....most will tell you to run premium on 400ex if its under 11:1

most people run pump gas up to a 11:1 compression ratio. I was going to run 93 (pump gas) in mine when i put it but jus dont feel like messin with it right now.

ill think about it over the weekend. i kinda wanna get a higher comp. piston to compliment my stage 1 hotcam ill be putting in but im not sure if it will affect the slow speed rideability or anything. i also wanna be able to run just 93 octane.

zach you can still run 93 with this. its just most ppl start runnin race gas when they get to 12:1 and higher.
