What would you do?

I am in the process of possibly trading my 05 Z400 and a KX100 for a 450. I am going to be racing next year, and my options are to Build up my Z or buy a 450 and start with that.

I really want to get a 450, but if a worked Z is equal, well, you get the point.

Please say why, and if you don't feel like saying why, just simply write

450 or Build Z.

GET A 450!!! you will save time and money gettin a 450

you are gonna spend to much on the motor to get it to perform like a STOCK 450

and youll end up selling your Z for a 450 anyway

if there is one thing i have learned it is go with what you REALLY want (as long as its doable of course) and DONT SETTLE

when you get to the races just about EVERYONE will have a 450, and then youll HAVE to get one too;)

yes there is a mx track about 10 minutes away from the famous nascar track. actually u can hear the cars running the track on race day, its pretty neat.

450r is the way to go. Why dump all that money into the z400 and you will still get smoked by mild built 450's!

I saw your post on YFZCentral.

What kind of riding/racing do you do? If you race MX I would suggest waiting for the Suzuki 450 to come out. If you don't want to wait or you race XC I would go with one of the other two 450's. But I would suggest going with a 450 over putting all your money into your 400 just to get it at the same level as a 450.
