Quad Tech Hood on '06 HELP

I have a quad tech scoop hood I am trying to install on my 06. Has anyone done this yet? I know there are 04/05's done. It doesnt seem to me like it is going to fit. If anyone knows how to or has done it, please let me know.

I have you just need to cut away the first set of slots on the
fenders.

well I did that... is there a trick to getting it to line up good? cause it is a pretty crappy fitment if you ask me. maybe I'll have to loosen everything up.

Sorry I just installed one on a customers bike and you need to cut the 2nd set also.

yeah I already went ahead and did that anyway. Got it on, looks pretty good. Does yours have a little bit of a gap between the fenders and the hood down toward where the hood flares out for the mounting? I couldn't get it to fit perfect so there is a little gap, but nothing major.

Yeah mines like that too where it flares out. Although where the instructions told me to cut stuff I didn't cut anything off at all. I chose to not cut anything so that I can reinstall all of my stock stuff later down the road. I really dont even see what needed to be cut anyways!?:confused:

There is a very little gap on the shifter side the brake side is perfect.
