it will scratch like all other plastic...and white does show it more however. I have had some discoloration but a little simple green takes care of it.

I used to have Silver Maier and one thing I REALLY liked about that plastic was it hid ALOT of the scratches


so what would be harder to keep looking good longer...........Blackor White.....??? anyone have both colors before ?

from what i have seen of other quads with blac, is that the black magnifies the scratches and the white hides them

True. My buddy has silver Maiers on his 400 that are pretty scratched up from XC racing, but they still look pretty darn good unless you look real close at them.

Black plastic will show the most scratches out of any color by far. Once the shiny Maier black gets scratched, it will expose the dull black plastic underneath. So you end up with a big contrast between the dull black and shiny unscratched black :ermm: This is less noticable with white as the contrast is much harder to discern.
