I am wondering what you would jet an 04 450r at with full rossier pipe with air box lid on and 04 crf 450 cam> thanks, jAson

50 pilot, 185 main.

prolly a 190 in the winter.

With the airbox lid on, I would try a k150 main That may be too big. Do you have a jet kit? Just trying to know what jets you are using. You are in Wisconsen(sp) so your elevation is higher. That +airbox lid on =low mainjet. I might say try a 145 for the summer

sorry that is for the lid off/hrc lid.

im at 700' above sea level.

I thought you all were higher than than that. Even a 185 main is still to big for the airbox lid off. I found the 170-175 is were the bike wants to be by the A/F

I am running a 172 main and I am around 600 ft above sea level!

i have a 165 main and 50 pilot and the header pipe glows red.... so do you think that going up on the main will eliminate the red pipe? or should i play with the air screw? thanks, Jason

What mods do you have? I would say put in a 172-175 main in. The 50 pilot should be ok. I would put the needle in the 3 clip from the top and 3 turns on the mixture screw. Try that

with my rossier i run a 190 main, 50 pilot, HRC needle 3rd clip, uni fliter, and no airbox lid.
