I got burned pretty bady from my header on my 250x on sunday. This isnt the first time its like the 8 and i think im gonna invest some money into a heat sheild.

i want to get a 450r heat sheild and was woundering where can i get one. a carbonfiber one or metal dont matter

I use the stock 450r shield on my 300ex w/ Sparks X-4. Works great.

It as $34 from the dealership, including the 3 brackets, screws, & clamps.

Parts were more, but no shipping to pay, so it was cheaper than servicehonda.

its ten dollars from service honda w/o the brackets but i can make them at home
i was just woundering what other companys make them besides stock

it was from a stock 450r and it is brand new...has all clamps..and etc

I think the heat shield alone was $12 at the dealership. I'd get the stand-offs as well. They are made very well and stainless steel.

You'll have to add shipping and handling for that part. It's one of the few things that's cheaper to buy at the dealership. And it looks great on a sparks pipe.
