I am wondering, How much is the 416 kit? And is it true that when you put it on it will keep up with the 450's.

I have one in my 416 while i have no dragged it or rode it much, i do know it has a butt load of power and will accelerate right with a stock 450. Mine also has a lot of other stuff but is only 416cc

Golden west cycle has the piston, gaskets, and cam for a little over $300. You'd just need to have the cylinder bored. Honestly, though, I'd probably rather piece it together on my own. That way, you can get the better laminated steel head gasket, the brand of piston you prefer, and you might save a few bucks if you shop around.

we sell the piston cam and gaskets for $286. you will see a big difference in power with a 416 kit if you use the correct parts. My wifes 416 was even with a piped YFZ. (keep in mind she doesn't weight as much as most guys)

I just got a quote from Motorworld of Elcajon and they said with everything for a 440 kit is 1100 dollars. Would it just be better to buy a 450? Or is the 440 going to go faster than a 450??

MY 416 has trouble with stock yfz's, and its no slouch:rolleyes:
There is no way I'm going to keep up with a piped one. Your wife must be riding one fast 416.

A 416 is much easier than a 440. If want be fast get the 450, if want to have fun and have extra cash in the bank get the 416. When I'm riding in the dunes, I keep up with all the fast bikes. And stick pretty close up the hills. But at the sand drags I win some and lose alot.
