Ok, My mind is made up that I belong on a quad and I'm tired of the bike sitting there due to rainy weather etc.. (If you live in the south you know what I mean) So, this bike is gonna have to go to make way for a quad.

Year of bike/Bike Brand/Model:
1999 Suzuki RM250

Condition:
Mint condition. Cleanest used bike I've seen. Worn cylinder bore, needs to have the cylinder replated, and a new piston. Will cost roughly $280 to fix.
The internals of the motor look new, and hardly even show any wear. Very nice bike.

Aftermarket Parts:
Numbers and Backgrounds
Custom Shorty Silencer
Few small parts that I can't think of.
Powdercoated Swingarm
Factory Effex Fork Guard Stickers
SDG Seat
N-Style Graphics
Redline Shifter
DSP Frame Guards
ASV C5 Series Levers
Pro Taper Bars/Grips
Fastline front CR-Style-Steel Braided brake line
Primary Drive Chain and Sprockets
Torq Grip Donuts
Shaved the front number plate for a little cooler look.
New Style Front fender
Painted frame using Dupont Metalflake paint, primed, painted, cleared. Not a quicky job.

Things Recently Replaced or Rebuilt:
New Chain and Sprockets-5 hours
New Tires-5 Hours
New Crank Seals
New carb vent hoses
Replaced brake fluid in front and rear-1 Hour
Silencer Repacked-1 Hour
SDG Seat-5 Hours
Redline Shifter-5 Hours
Clutch hub-4 hours
Right Radiator
The head has been resourfaced with no run time on it

Maintenence Shcedule:
Oil Changed Every 2 Rides
Bearings Repacked with grease every month
Filter cleaned every ride, and re-oiled with Motul Foam filter oil
Exhaust Valve cleaned every month
Spokes checked every ride
Chain Cleaned, Lubed and adjusted, before and after every ride
Antifreeze checked every ride, changed every month
Washed every ride, everything was tried and WD-40d after washing
Bolts and nuts checked every ride
Clutch Adjusted every ride
Clutch plates, hub, backet etc. checked every ride
Fork Air Pressure released every ride

Things that need to be replaced:
Rear Fender is cracked
Front fender bolt is broke off in housing. (easy fix)
Oil Drain Plug is stripped, (the case) I am unaware of why this is like that too. I just wrapped the bolt in thread tape and it's working fine, no leaks.
Bolt is broke on the right number plate, the one in the airbox. (easy fix)
Worn cylinder bore, needs to have the cylinder replated, and a new piston. Will cost roughly $280 to fix.
The internals of the motor look new, and hardly even show any wear. Very nice bike.

Misc Info:
As you can tell, this bike was taken care of and meticuslously looked at. It is not from some redneck who rides and leaves it out in the rain. It was always kept in a garage. If something broke it would be fixed. If you want any more info please contact me.

It was recently stripped to the frame, everything was cleaned with WD40, regreased, loctited, and re-torqed to specs. Bike is very clean and looks near brand new.

guys the 1999 , 2000 rm motors were one of the best 250 motor out there.

1500$ in non runnin condition is like a ok price being the bike has alot of aftermarket...but i have extensive motor mods compared to you on my 2000, full racing bike, and people dont even want it for 2000$ it just seems like bikes dont get much of anything $ wise....you might just be better to keep it and have fun with it when you can, i only ride mine on nice days when i want something different....all the $ i put into mine wasnt worth the low balled 1800$ offers i was getting.

Thanks. I will definately work on that price, but that is a good place to start. $600 is way to low.

Duplicolor Metalflake is what was used. It looks really good in person, better than in the pics.

Powedercoated black swingarm.
