Is there much difference in power between 12.5 and 13.5 it will be for gncc racing I also have a hotcam stage2 and a factory 4 pipe and not sure on the vortex or the dana but I do want a lighter flywheel. bigger intake valves stock size exaust and ported head.

For XC and GNCC's I would stick with stock compression and heavy flywheel. It's a whole different story compared to MX. You hit or clip a tree you will probably stall. Momentum is a factor in XC. I realized if I kept the motor stock other than the cam and spent that money on some suspension, flex bars you will be alot faster. Thats just my .02c

^^^^^^ yup. One compression point is not worth it. Spend the money on suspension, 12:1 is a good compression already and you can run pump gas.
