i might get a new quad in the late summer but idk what to get
i rode my friends LT 265 and loved it and also rode a 400ex and loved it too but i like the 250r
help me out!

i have a 400ex, with quite a few mods:devil: , but id go witha good 250r, think about it, it was winning races 20 years ago and it still is, so i say go with the king, the 250r

if you plan on being competitive in mx get a 450. You will be able to find yfz450s for 3800 by next summer. If you are going to be stubborn about not getting a 450 get a z400.

i want a 450r id kill to have one but i ddont have the money because ill proby sell my quad for ab out 2000$ and make about 1000$+ this summer and buy it at the end of summer and than that will be my winter project
i dont really like Z400 that much

the 450s are the way to go man, the 400s are very outdated now. the 250r is the best way to go in ur situation. it was previously stated that its still winning races, and its 20 yrs old.

i dont really like Z400 that much

well you probably havent riden the z because i own a 400ex and i love it but i still think the z is a better quad (thats my opinion). If you are going to make the 400ex your "winter project" you are going to dump around what you could be saving for a 450, which you wouldnt have to mod at all to compete on the mx track. I honestly think you will be making a big mistake if get a 400ex, but it's your money to waste

yes because when you spend that money it will be what you could have spent on the 450. are you not understanding that? You can put $4000 into a 400ex to make make it be able to possibly keep up with 450s. You can buy a 450 for $4000 and you wont have to worry about your bored out motor to blow up

i might wait to sell my quad until i have 2000$ and than sell mine for 2000$ and ill buy a 450r and start on that

get either the 450r or the yfz just because the earlier models will be going for pretty cheap now, around 3500-4500 which is good for a 450.
