Are they Practical??? Im thinking about asking for one for Chistmas. Im 17 almost 18, I like to play PS2 on occasion, but I See you can play music and movies and what not on there. Ive seen the graphics on these and they're amazing, almost Identical to PS2. What are the cool things that you can do on these that would make me want one???

i had one but couldnt afford to keep it. they are REDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE! I;m not talking about just the PSP system but the games are $50 a piece and all the accessories are expensive too. I returned mine to walmart and got all my money back for it before my 90 days was up and sold the 8 games I had on ebay. Its a nice little gadget but my pocketpc plays my mp3's which is WAY more practical

Can you get on the internet with them right out of the box (w/o any mods), if your at a place that is providing WiFi?

Ive got one i love it. It all depends what version u have to use internet. 2.0 and up can have it right out the box but all new ones are most likely 2.5. But if you are lucky enough to get a 2.0 or 1.5 u can downgrade the 2.0 to 1.5. On 1.5 if u know how to do it. You can get games for free and load them right on psp. Same with movies. All u need is a bigger memory stick. I personaly love mine. Would recomend it to anyone.

Yeah I was reading on PSP forums and everyone seems to be DOWNGRADING to 1.5, it seems like I would want the newest one??

What Are some of the lesser known features of the psp??

lets see i know u can play roms on there. Theres all sorts of stuff. Search psp hacks on google.

i wouldnt spend you money man its alot just to get into then you have to fund your gaming by buying new games..

yup, all u have to do is turn the switch on and bam all u have to do is set it up with 1 minute of ur time and bam free internet on psp.

Well My mom just said she'd get me the PSP Giga pack, Comes with 1 gb memorycard, usb cable, stand, case, and headphones for 299, thats incredable considering the PSP goes for $250 and just the memory sticks are about $100! I also told her I want Liberty City Stories, Have you played this game yet?

yup got liberty city stories the game is awesome i love it. Play it all the time in school. Youll love what u can do with the memory card.
