What do you guys do to your quads after your done riden in the winter time, sand, slush salt snow etc. all the bad elements
for maintenance

i kno you guys just dont throw your quad back in the garage and call it a night

Thats what I do, it's far too cold out to do much else. But I'd suggest the regular stuff, wash it off, lube the stuff that needs lubing. Nothing special really, maybe keep an eye on the rubber stuff make sure it's not cracking too bad from the cold.

i heard you could put cooking oil on your seat and tires to prevent cracking not sure if it works tho

I ride mine its no ski doo but when the trails are down & all the crap holes freeze over with decent tires its the best ,clean fun ridin i do all year the bumps smooth over 360's are nice (but thats an all year thing on an ex) & not to mention going flat out sideways across the open feilds ,an ex makes a good shovel in your driveway too some of the neighbours dont like it but thats too damn bad ! enjoy winter its not all bad.

i change the oil, wash it, and grease it up i would recomend a heated garage and i would start it every now and then just to be on the safe side
