whats the best plastic?? i like the stock, but i have stains on my white plastic from my boots rubbing against it. i need new plastics ..can any1 tell me where to get some plastics..

have you thought about maier? the others are better quality but for cheap nice plastics go with maier. otherwise id go with fullbores but the price tag isnt too nice. Havent had any experience with the lakers but ive heard good things about them.

i would get maier. golden west cycle sells a plastic kit for $220

Your best bet is with stock. Nothing has the fit or quality of OEM.

my maier race front and back mounted perfest but the front with the lights was a lil hard.

It's not just mounting but the hardware used also. With Maier you have metal brackets where stock is equiped with molded brackets. You just can't get that with thermal formed plastics. Injected molded plastic is the way to go. The brackets are molded into the fenders and mount much cleaner. I won't buy aftermarket plastics anymore. OEM is the only way to go for me.

Why are Fullbores so expensive? If stock has better mounting wouldn't everyone run it? Also will fullbore or laker custom just fall apart after hard riding(the mounts)?

Fullbore is injection molded like OEM plastics. Lakers or Maiers won't fall apart they stand up pretty good. I just prefer injected plastic.

Is the extra money you pay for the fullbores worth it? Or should I choose which design I like better?

i have had maier and laker , and seen fullbore and i say go laker. there very durable.

I would say its not worth it. go with the maiers, they're cheap but still durable. spend your money on something better.

Why is the fit on those so off? The part where the front meets the rear. Is it just me or are they really overlapping?
