replacement speakers for 87 monte carlo

does anyone know what some good replacement stock size speakers are for a 1987 monte carlo? I know the rears are 4x10's, but have no clue what the fronts are. I dont know what the requirements are for them either.

I also see alot of 6x9 rear conversion kits. Is it worth it?

I'd go for the 6x9 adapter ring. I had them in my old Regal and they worked great with a good set of 6x9's. I doubt you'll find many 4x10's that sound very good.

Should be 3.5" speaker in the dash. Might be able to work a 4" in there with one or more mounting ears trimmed some.
