why is there a rule for mx that you can't be any wider than 50 inches?
Cuz that's the way they want it,,just like cc limitations, age limits and what not, just rules of the trade..:macho

I have 10x5 standard offset front wheels and +2 a arms and my front end is at 47inches. I'm thinking about getting a +3 long travel front end and +4 +1 offset wheels when I get my new shocks.

Yeah a +4 lsr axle will set you at 50 inches perfect. But the front end is alot more narrow than the rear.
