What is the most worth while pipe to get while trying to stay on the quiet side? Is there even such a thing?

Thanks

P.S. For the 400ex

fmf q but i would get a white bros e series cuz with 12 dicks its 96dbs not to loud and makes good power.

I would also say the e-series. The Q2 doesnt sound cool at all (on a kfx) but the e-series is a good mixture of quiet, performence, and good sound.

Has anyone tried one of Pro-Circuits 496's? I'm also looking into a aftermarket can that will be on the quiet side and is forestry legal. Or should I just stick to stock for a rec./trail rider.

The FMF-Q2 is a very quite pipe perfect for trails

I just bought a Q2 for my 400ex,
I had a Q1 and a powerbomb, wrecked the Q1 so I replaced it with the Q2. The Q2 is definately quieter than the Q1, and I didn't notice any loss in power compared to the Q1.
Don't get me wrong, you will never get as much power out of a quiet pipe as an obnoxious one. But for where I have to ride If I'm loud I get shut down. The Q2 works great and if your not looking to race and you don't have a built motor, By all means it is a GREAT pipe

Big Gun claims 94 db with their quiet core. Not sure how they perform though.
