Yoshimura rs3 comp full system the new rs3 comp series has an aluminum silencer, and titanium head and connector pipe and it is also only $400 for a full system that is probably the best price and performance you will get

Check out rossier, I remember it gave really good power gains on Pappy's stock 450 at the dyno at Rausch, and I've heard nothing but good things about them. If I had a 4 stroke it would be getting a Rossier exaust.

Best place to order it is from www.rockymountainatv.com and I would also think about getting a uni or twin air filter not a k&n and I would also get a dyno jet kit

where can i get a Rossier?

Pro Circuit Ti-4. I don't think they make the lowboy system for quads, but the regular system is good, too. I think they cost like $700 or something.

Full system HMF's are near the top and affordable, out of 20 pipes on the Z/kfx HMF came in second for power increases/gains....you can find a full system for around 400 or...get on ebay and find them around 350-375

I've got the Yoshi/Suzuki OEM slip on. It was about $300.00, sounds cool, BUT NOT LOUD ENOUGH TO WAKE THE DEAD!!

Good luck

I would suggest the yoshimura. The sound is great and the quality is great too. i dont know where you heard that stuff from. My dad has the rs-3 on his z400 and comparing it to mine when i just had a LRD exhaust i can tell the difference. HTe yoshimura is better. $395 from rocky mountain would be your best bet, go with yosh

HMF pipes are way too loud.. many places cracking down on loud quads.. go with the yoshimura pipe!!:D

whats so great about ear bleeding loud noise??? run any santioned race and you will be sorry when they tell you cant race due to being over the allowed decibal limit. yosh worked with suzuki to get the best HP with quietest sound. Yosh also finished the pipe shoot out right behind hmf but was alot quieter!!

01-05-2006, 12:17 PM
the three main pipes i would choose from are yoshimura trc titanium due to weight.and is the best for the whole torque curve hands down.#2would be the curtis sparks pipe.super good down low.#3rossier very nice pipe with a sweet mid range.let the others set on the shelves.

No, thats what the land owner call it when poeple like you get everyone kicked off from local riding areas from having 100+ decibal exhaust systems. Welcome to the real world..nobody wants to listen to loud obnoxious sounding quads. The sad thing is that the hmf only has less than a half HP more than the much quieter yosh pipe.

way yo go DipSh*t, you just proved that the HMF puts out more power.....LMFAO what an idiot.

01-11-2006, 02:52 PM
HA HA funny shiat. I went with the pro-circuit on one of my customers Z400. It had 34.2 hp at 6900 rpm all most the same hp at 700 rpm lower then the HMF. Look where the peak hp of 34.5 is at on the HMF...7500 rpm. Also the HMF was not USFA. The pro-circuit at 95 db is alot better sounding then stock for sure, and is USFA.

I used the Yoshimura titanium full-system this year. I puts out great horsepower, and the power is very smooth.

John Ragon

01-11-2006, 04:18 PM
but look at the rpm that the yosh makes peak hp 8300!!!!! thats 1400 rpm higher then the pro-circuit and a little less hp. The pro-circuit is at its peak hp which is higher then the yosh wayyyyy sooner. Even sooner then all of the others. I tried to get the CT, but they were on back order.

Just get a DMC, they sound awesome and have a good gain. Also the full systems are more affordable than some other systems.

NO sh*t .. I never said it didn't !! We were talking about how the loud the hmf was compared to the yosh, dumb@ss. The hmf puts out a whole .5 HP more than the yosh but it is way louder and the hmf doesn't even have a spark arrester. Damn hill billy!

sorry buddy but when u got private land to ride in and noones there to complain, the only way to go is LOUD as HELL

I thot HMF does have a spark arrestor. dont they?

HondaRider250..
I agree sometimes louder is better but land owners are starting to dislike quads due to the obnoxiuos noise. All santioned races (that I know of anyways)are starting to crack down on the noise , so why buy a pipe that you know will be too loud?

As far as hmf having a spark arrester, the pipe shoot out I posted said they didn't have one. I do have several friends with hmfs and they love them, but they are loud and obnoxiuos. 2 of the 5 of them are changing to yosh pipes for the race season for noise restriction reasons.

CT RACING HAS THE BEST OVERALL PERFORMANCE PIPE BUT IS MORE COSTLY,HMF DOES HAVE A SPARK ARRESTOR AVAILABLE BUT YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT THEY DON'T CHARGE EXTRA FOR IT THOUGH AND THEY ARE PRETTY LOUD I HAVE ONE NOW AND I'M THINKING ABOUT SWITCHING BECAUSE EVEN WITH THE QUIET CORE THAT THEY OFFER IT WON'T GET YOU UNDER 96 DECIBELS,THE YOSH IS A GREAT CHOICE TOO, CHECK OUT WHITE BROTHERS FOR THE MONEY FACTOR IF THAT'S WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD IT'S NOT THE BEST AND IT'S NOT THE WORST.GOOD LUCK

Read the last part of your own quote idiot you said HMF has HALF the HP that yosh does.....i asked for numbers and you proved your self wrong. So once AGAIN you proved yourself to be a complete ****ing idiot congratulations. And you are just an expert on everything aren't you? ****ing ignorant ******* of course HMF makes spark arrestors i own one.
