450r rear shock on 89 250r ?

Does anybody know if the 450r rear shock will fit on a 89 250r 'stock swing arm thanks:

My guess is no they won't fit.

A 250r rear shock is 16.38 inches long while a 450r rear shock is 14.75 inches long.

Definetely won't work
