Snow Day

Well lynchburg, va got a little snow today. I got off this morning at 5:40 and when i walked outside it was sleeting/freezing rain. It done so for a few hours clean up til 7 or 8 then it changed over to snow and it has been snowing ever since. I went out in the truck because i was hungry and had to get me some wendy's. Proud to say the new tires on the truck do GREAT in the snow. I have never had a tire that peformed like these. I traveld up highway 460 at 60-65 mph the whole time and the truck did fine

i took my camera with me and managed to snap a few pics

u have a snow day with an inch of snow...... are u kidding me! it takes us up to a foot to not have school.

I agree .... the only way kids around here get days off , are if they have to put skates on to get to school cuz of ice . Other than that , schools are open all the time , it's the buses that decide if they want to travel or not . That's just a small dusting of snow . ;) :p

its 3 inches on the ground...they have already canceled schools...and besides im out of school i work 3rd shift and tonight is my night off so

It's snowing in Fredericksburg, Virginia right now as well. We have about 3" now, and all we got today was to leave school early..

well the way i see it is the north gets so much snow every year if they canceld for every snow kids wouldnt be in school for how ever many months out of the year

round here our buses really aint suited for snow either. its sleeting outside right now and they have already canceled some schools for tomorrow. if its like this tomorrow when its time to go to work im calling in

and they were/are calling for 5-12 inches here. I hope it happens

LOL ... yeah if they cancelled school cuz of snow , the kids wouldn't be in school from October until May ... go to school for a month then be off for the summer . They'd also think 2+2 = 7 . :ermm:

It looks like you have just the right amount of snow to go out and have fun with your quad .... hop on it and start tearing up some lawn . :devil:

Nice looking truck you got also ..... but I don't think I'd be doing 65 MPH down the highway with freezing rain ..... good way to turn that nice looking truck into a nice looking piece of scrap metal . :ermm:

thanks for the comment on my truck...i really love and enjoy my truck but i was doin 60 65 behind trucks and snowplows...i didnt do that speed the whole time i got it up to 65 once but i did mostly 45-55

far as the quad....tires on that badboy are GONE bald as hell


bald tires + snow = NO GO

i do want to ride my quad in the snow tho but oh well i hope i can get me some new meats for it sooner or later

i wish it would snow here
