I'm still using the stock clutch w/ Heavy Duty Springs on my 330ex. Works just fine. Barnett basket wouldn't hurt though.

they don't make a hydro clutch for the 300ex, but im sure you could make up a new mounting bracket or something, not sure though

Or you could go w/ a TUSK for about $28 we've had GOOD luck w/ them :) raced w/ them & they hold up well it seemsZ!!! WAY less $$ too :D

They've DEFINETLY proved themselves in our blaster, we put one in about a year & 1/2 ago & it's STILL in there, our Barnett didn't last for chit :( but he raced HARD HARD HARD flattrack & trail riding & the TUSK is STILL in there!!! They also sell HD springs so it's ALL good for the price :)

Tusk clutches should work great in the sport quads. We aren't putting out the HP of a 450. I have heard of very little problems with them in 30hp or less quads. Haven't really heard about much in the higher HP ones either, but I'd have to do a lot of research on a 450.

You only need the HD springs if your running a big bore motor. No point making the clutch harder to pull than it already is. :)

i havent ran the tusk products but i have had good luck with barnett in the past BUT i usually opt for the DP.they cost more but hold up for a long time with a lot less slippage.of course your riding habbits and a properly adjusted cable will ultimately decide how long your clutch lasts, regardless of brand or oil;)

so if i get a new clutch it will make it harder to pull cuz if so then that sucks cuz my clutch is hard to pull as it is
