Rear Shock Removal

Im going to take my rear shock off this week to have it revalved.
Anyways I was just wondering what the easiest way to get it out was. Do you have to remove the airbox and take it out from the top?

just unbolt it and pull it out the back there may be some wiggling and turning required but it will go.

Remember to support the subframe....
