use an air ratchet or impact wrench

some people uses pennies, don't pry on it with anything or you will break the basket...

There is a special tool available that is recommended to hold the basket while removing the lock nut but it can be done with a shop rag, a good grip and a pneumatic impact wrench. Just be careful not to get your fingers caught in the gears;)

When reassembling, be sure to put the last fiber in the slot different from the others.
