Just bought a 2002 400EX with after market white bros e sires exhaust, K&N air filter and some carb jetting mods. This thing is way to loud. Would put stock muffler on if it will not screw with operation. Understand it will effect performance. anything I can do to the existing muffler? also, is no air box cover a factor. If I do go back to a stock muffler (ebay $20) will I have to re jet carb or can i adj out.
I dont know anything about these things but pretty good at changing parts.
thanks

More discs will make it louder!!!
There are two quiet cores available for the e-series, one of them being supposedly quieter than the other.
