Pretty much any cycle shop should have youth gear but here is one site I hear mentioned a lot. Rocky Mountain Atv (http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.do)

I know of 2 excellent shops for little gear heads. Dohms Cycle- 1-304-342-5148 ask for Nathan and Mr.Holeshots- 1-304-755-7200 ask for Ken . Thats where I purchased my 1 and 2 year olds gear at. Fly, Alloy and Thor I know for sure. These guys will drop ship it to your front door and for a really good price. Tell them Bonnet told you to give them a call.

How old is you son?My daughter is 5.Im getting her a 50 for x-mas.I go to E-town here in Nj ang my wife has enough problems with that. She tells me she is not your "son"and that she should be playing with Barbie and not quads.I need some backup from some of you guys that have been through this.;)

How about some re-inforcement from a girl!:D

Who says that this sport has to be a Mans sport anyhow? :huh
Does your wife ride at all??Has she ever even rode a quad before? Alotof the time when you can get the women interested in the sport ,you will see all the rest of the family wanting to ride every wk end ....

My Daughter is 11 and still plays with Brats dolls (shhhhhhhhh dont tell her I said that or she would KILL me!:eek2: :p ) and yet, she still has plays in the dirt when ever she can .

Althought she wasnt 5 when she started riding(she was 7 pictured here) had we known what a blast riding would have been, we would have started sooner! :)
Maybe once Mom sees how much fun she is having riding with her Daddy ,Mom may come around ;)

My wife has only rode on the back around the yard and that was only because i asked her to try it.She has no interest in riding at all,and to be honest,When i do get out im at the track not cruising down the trail,so family riding would be out anyway. If my daughter really gets into racing and not just riding,i'd probably sell mine and build her one.OMG did i just type that.:eek2:

LOL!! YOU DID!! :p

Well, to be honest.. I didnt want a thing to do with them EITHER! MY ole man had to LITERALLY drag me out one day just to watch him ride, then BEGGED me to just try it, I was skerd:o I was a TOTAL Moron on it but after two rides on it, I was hooked !

Do you not go for group rides of any kind?? We dont do as much as we sued to ,but we still get together with freinds and ride in between series. Getting the family involved is important IMO ;)

They say not to use it to disipline or punish. They also say not to keep them in the crate while your at work.Just for short periods of time.Im not worried about him while im home, only while im away.Im gonna keep researching for now.
