Allright i have a AC racing swingarm guard on my 400 and it done just fine for the last year but now its got a big crack in it under the chain. I'm gonna get it patched up and everything but... what is a tought swingarm guard? besides DG i hate DG products. I seen one bust in half one day so im not a fan in those any at all.
But what is some tough swingarm guards? should i buy a new 1 or just get mine patched and forget about a new 1?

These are made from .250 thick Aluminum. They are very tough! Rocky Mountain ATV has 'em for about $100.

pro armor is the chit! mine kinda bent so that it rubs the built in chain block. so when that happened, insted of bending it back i just put some washers inbetween the swingarm and the plate, and havent had any problems for a whole season. definatly a must buy!!!

The ProTect stainless steel one is about the best that you can get. After that the PRM is the next.
armadillo from romcky moutnain atv...they do not bend...really anything that is .250 inch...

I ripped the stock skid off on my first ride. I have been running a PRM for 2 years. when and if it ever needs to be replaced it will be another PRM..:macho
