The 450R and The 400ex are the same arm up to 2005. The only difference is the upper chainslide. The 450R has a larger set up than the 400ex. They have changed the 2006 450r arm slightly, It's longer and the shock mount has been moved slightly. I build both arms and offer the 450r chainslide mounts to guys with 400ex's because they seam heavier duty.

Not sure, but from your pic. they look a little on the light side, are these for drag racing or light duty?

that swingarm is tight! how much would it cost for a 400ex? Can you make them to use links?

Just a heads up, the TRX 450 swing arm is not the same as the 400EX. No matter which year we talk about. It takes a completely different carrier and other small details like that. It is close but is not right.

Shi###. I forgot about the Smaller housing size of the 450R. Damn. The Housing of the 450r is slightly smaller width wise. Sorry for that. I build both 400ex and 450r. We use a smaller housing for the 450R. The diameters are the same. Now I look like a jack@$$. Foot in mouth. Stand corrected. Long day. Thanks Dan.

Built out of .120 wall 4130 chromoly. Don't think so. We have alot of these out there running mx. Buy one and test it. Plus these come with a full warranty. No questions asked...

What is the width of the swingarm where the carrier goes through? I don't want the overall width of the carrier, just the part of the swingarm it goes through.
