camcorders?

hello well i have been loking at camcorders and i found a 3.14 Mega Pixels one with 4x zoom would this be good anough to make good videos. also is there anything that i need to make sure this camcorder has? and how meany Mega Pixels do you have? thank you.

Well I'm not current on my mega pixels but I can give you some pointers. Don't be concerned about the zoom feature. Action footage and zoom don't mix. It makes boring (silent) movies. Get yourself a wide angle (fisheye) lens. When you shoot your footage, get yourself as close to the action as you safely can. Try not to use the zoom feature when possible. Just a few things to think about.
