Does anyone know any tips/tricks on how to do this, I have several tires that I am trying to switch out and I went to several places and they wanted $10/wheel, that is ridiculous....

Somebody help....

buy a bead breaker and learn how to change tires if you lived a little closer i would let you use mine .:)

do you have any pointers, I heard if you lube up the tire it will slide on....with a little help of course...

How much do the bead breakers cost? I'm getting rims and tires in the mail, and I think the dealers around here want even more than 10 bucks a tire.

All you need is a bead breaker. If your tires are not mounted, then you will not need anything but tire irons to put them on. I use soapy water to help them mount, and I also applie bead sealer befor seating the bead. Auto zone has it. As for a cheap place for a bead breaker, look at harbor freight. I use the automotive one all the time it was around 50 I think.
