06 Best price Avdvise . Please Help

I am told by my local honda shop that now is the best time to buy as they are hurting for business and is reall slow at the shop. I am located in Southern Tier of NY. not much riding going on right now.(cold). Now to be honest i am looking for the best possible price out the door and could use you guys help. I know they can do better than MSRP but not sure how far. What i need to know is how much is a low price where the shop is still making a minimal profit and also i want the hrc kit and the extended 4yr warranty right off the bat.along with sales tax paid and registration done. So my question is how much should i be willing to spend and have in mind when i go to the shop to work my deal for a new 06?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i may be an 06 450R owner in 2-3 weeks.

Anyone around NY state with a good price including hrc and extended 42 month service plan? I seen an ad in TN for 5633.00 but that does not include the extras.

If the motor is as potent as they say it will be high strung for a 4 stroke. a 4 year warrany is the way to go with a motor like this. got to have it.

No that was just the price on the bike no extras no one around here seems to want to deal that much on the 06

Personnaly I don't ever get the extended warrenty's. I usually make mods that would void the warrenty before the regular warrenty has expired. I know some choose to purchase them Anyway. How long do you plan on keeping the quad?

My quote was $6,045 from Skips, same as another member mentioned in another thread.

I think there should be an online service where the honda shops fight for your business to give you the best price possible. just like that comercial with bank loans. I think maybe i am on to something LOL. 6-8 grand is not pocket change.
