Lol thats mounted wrong bud, the tabs towards the bottom are supposed to be on the inside of the plastic! Unless you have some reason for doing that I would switch it cause it will look a LOT better!

Why cant you mount it on the inside? It looks identical to my quadtech smooth hood!:confused:

I tried. if you take a close look at the tabs near the front of the hooh you will see that they "bent" outward. The tabs on the quad tech hood are a lot more inward and therefor fit under the plastic. When I tried to mount mine under the plastic it bent it out and looked terrible. Someone on this forum once mentioned that the hoods on ebay were an old quad tech design? I actually have a Maier vented hood that I am going to use after my winter rebuild that will look a lot better. One plus the tabs on the outside it that you will not have problems with the plactic pins pulling out like some people have experienced on Quad Tech hoods.
