ok i have my fourwheeler at my friends house and he has been hotwiring it to use it. I dont exactly know how but when i was over there i forgot my key and he just hotwired it. Is there anyway i can stop him from doing so besides not leaving my fourwheeler there?

He is most likely jumping the two wires that come from the key switch to complete the circuit and allow it to start. Pull the spark plug, unground the coil, or remove the fuse from the starter solenoid to prevent your friend from starting it. You could also just remove the ground from the battery and hope he will not notice. Ungrounding the coil or pulling that fuse will have your friend scratching his head for sure ;)

Take the rectifier home with you, or is it the regulator....whichever it is, it is mounted back on the subframe, looks like a car amp (fins)....

That's pretty simple and sneaky too. Just two bolts and and quick connector and it's gone
