am i losing power from my silencer

on my ex i got a fmf powerbomb header and a fmf powercore 4 silencer and its not in to great of shape theres a big dent in the side of it thats been there ever since my brother bought it. and on the ends of the silencer shes dinged up where u take out the allen head screws to take the silencer apart so it leaks through there and where the silencer hooks up to the header it leaks there too. think i would be losing power from this.

i cant really imagine that affecting the power any.

my old white brothers was bout like that and i didn't notice any power loss unless your is just totally trashed

no its just got a few leaks here and there and and dent thats the size of a golf ball that goes 1/2 inch in dont know what that was from. i was thinking of getting a hmf silencer to put on there but not sure yet.

i have an hmf slipon..i like it it is an awesome all around pipe with pull on lowend but revs through the top i love mine...plus can't beat the polished look:macho

if your loosing power with your silencer then check the packing. my T-4 was doing that, i looked at my packing and it was trashed, i put some new packing in it and its as good as new

unless it's red
