My amp keeps burning the fuse that plugs directly into the back of it. Keep in mind that it is not the inline fuse (it is only a 15 amp fuse). What keeps causing it to burn so quickly? I burn one about every 20 minutes. Thanks.
What kind of amp is it, and what do you have hooked up to it? Also, how is the speaker/s wired?

its a legacy 500watt amp that is hooked up to a 500w audiobahn 15" sub. It is bridged if that helps.
Find out what ohm-load the amp is rated for. Then make sure the way you have it hooked up is not exceeding that limit.

no, thats not the reason. I had everything hooked up and working for 4 months and then all of sudden, my cd deck died and then my fuses started to burn afterwards. Is there anyway that it could be a result of a bad ground connection off my amp?
So you got a new deck?
It could be the ground, but not likely. Somehow, you are getting too much power into the amp. That's why the fuses are blowing. Is your voltage reading normal. Your alternator may be putting out too much, which would mean your regulator is going/has gone out.
I don't know, just thinking of all possible causes.

possible the remote out on the new deck provides more power then the old deck... throw a 20-25 amp fuse in it and see if it helps...
