snowmobile headlight covers are bad... makes the headlight not work as good and people won't see you coming.

I have posted this picture about 1,000 times....but its the only picture I have of my last sled. 1997 Polaris XLT RMK 600. about the only thing I did to it....was fix it. It had a DG silencer...which was pretty much just an empty can at the end of the pipe. Mother was loud:o

There's one after i id alittle fix up work and cleaned it some. It's a 1985 Ski-Doo forumla MX 462. It runs preatty good fro an older sle dit's just something to mess around with. Next year i will buy a better one!:macho

shes got the trail. she absolutly loves it. i love it too. amazing on gas mileage and very very peppy for a 500. i was really suprised with the power. worth the money IMO

I have pics of my sled in the sig .... 1989 polaris indy trail .... its red now with a another track, and plastic ski's .... i got the track for $50 bucks from my boss .... and he gave me the plastic ski's for free .... there not new but in very good shape. just have to put it back together now ....

Yes, that is right. I have an 05 500ss adrenaline. The thing is awesome. It gets about 17 mpg which is only 2 lower then my dads SDI. It accelerates almost as quicky as his 600 H.O. SDI and only loses out on top end by about 5mph. It will go 100 easy. Great sled for the money.

riding a snowmobile in winter is alot warmer then a quad in winter.. heated hand and thumb warmers, wind shield.. that sort. plus its so fun that the cold is the least of my worries

I am looking to get a trail sled that i can race in cross-sountry races. It has to 600cc. I want either an Artis Cat or a Polaris anybody help meout on this.

arctic cat has a zr600 cross country edition, pretty sure it has better shocks and things of that sort compared to the regular zr's. also the firecat chassis, f5(500) f6(600) f7(700) are nice too but tend to have a few more problems compared to other sleds. the firecats have amazing power and are very popular.


polaris has the edge X 600/700/800, my buddy is hardcore polaris fan and rides the edge X and loves them.

if you arent ruling ski doo out, check out the rev chassis sleds. the snowmobiles are rider forward, making it feel more like a quad or dirtbike. the rev's keep your back straight and are alot more comfortable for long rides and jumps than most other sleds.

basically anything you get is going to be awsome, they are alot of fun and i hope to have one in my garage by this time next year

I might be buying a 2000 mxz 500 w/ 2600 miles for 2 grand. thats a pretty good price up there.

I HATE sleds. In my town they can ride along the side of the road and cops dont say anything but if i did that on my four wheeler i would get ticketed for everything.Snowmobilers also yell at me for ripping up the trail on my property and when i tell them its mine they still tell me i shouldnt ride. So this year if i see a sled i will chase it off my property.

alot of snowmobilers are bitter about quads because they wait all year for it to snow, and when they head out to the trails and they are ripped to shreds by kids doing donuts on a 250ex. ill admit, sometimes they take it too far and should just chill out like in your situation, but you cant say you would be mad if you came up to your sled trails and they were all dirt from quads. alot of sledders think that all kids on quads are like that, but i personally only stay on the roads if it snows enough for sleds to ride. the guys in my area dont have legal sled trails and wait all year for it to snow, so the least i can do is leave the feilds nice and snowy for them. if its only an inch or two then i ride the feilds.

and about the sleds getting off easier with the police, its definitly true. snowmobiles are basically accepted in my town, i know at least 8 cops who ride sleds in my town

There is so much sled acceptance in my town to. They really don't do anything. They dont rip stuff up, run from the cops, or cause trouble. Theres so much media for sleds here. Not to mention groomers that groom thousands of trails.

i stay out of trails in the winter and once when deer season starts because i dont like tear up the trails for snow mobilers and i stay out during hunting season because they shouldent have to hear quads while hunting

NY300exrider-They also tell me to stay off the powerlines and pipeline which isnt theres.they also do poker runs and drive from bar to bar drunk and cops dont give a $***.i just think its unfair with what they get away with.
