Here is my 250R. Pretty much restored/resto-mod. The sun was shining so I thought I'd clean it up. It's still too dirty for me (I'll probably wash it again before the next ride), but it's 41 degrees outside.

That is an old Graydon bumper/skidplate combo. The skidplate is only goes back under the a-arms. I think it was purchased around 1990. As far as I know, they are still available.

I can't find them on the Graydon site. I've been looking for one of those for a while. The DG has a similar style, but it has the gay DG logo plate in the middle.

I haven't seen you on here much. Since you got that 450, you don't hang around us 250r guys much anymore.

Absolutely I'm interested, but your PM box is full!

Both recieved AND sent messages count against your total (100 allowed), so if your inbox isn't the problem, then your sent messages need to be cleaned up.

Sorry about that...I've cleaned it all out.

I've been lurking but not much posting. Just haven't had a lot of time! It pains me to say but I've had the 250 for sale.

Nothing will replace it:( I just don't have the time to ride it and have too many quads. I've been riding the 450 my daughters both now have 700 raptors (i know it's nearly sacriligious). I built a rail for the wife and just feel bad seeing the r sit.

Oldsandman,
I have always thought your R is my favorite R I have ever seen. Nice ride bud! Honestly man you'll regret selling it down the road. But then again you do have plenty of other quads to fight the addiction!

Oldsandman's 330 is definitely among the nicest around (although I'm not a big fan of the oversized tanks).

He's got a 450 that looks equally as nice.

Did you put as much attention into the rail as you have your quads?

I did spend a lot of time on the rail. I've had it together and running for about a month now. It's ready to be torn down and sent to pc and chrome. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any mistakes before finshing it.
