For my truck i have 2 sets of tires one on the stock rims 16" and they are bridgestone duelers and the second set is American Racing polished aluminum 17" with 33" BFG mud terrains, i have two duelers that leak air on right now and one thats pretty bald, I found out my BFGs are rated about as good on snow and ice. The only reason I took the BFGs off is b/c of the rims and salt and grime in winter, but would it be fine if i kept them clean and mainly keep them from pitting or will I permanantly lose luster? If its fine do you have any tips of taking care of them? Thanks...

seeing where you live I would say they salt roads pretty heavy and often in the winter. But if they are newer wheels with factory finish you sould be ok, if they are an older set that has been polished a few times the salt will affect them easier. But still won't hurt them, if you see salt stains on them just keep them polished up.
